Client has asked me to create a video of how Parallels works on my Mac. I figured why reinvent the wheel and let's see if you have a tutorial he could watch. I see all the cool new feature videos but no tutorial. Do you have one?

@ajinkya120 Microsoft itself is a software only company the computers are LG SONY HP DELL TOSHIBA ETC, Microsoft itself allowed mac to use windows on mac because that actually shows how mac users really need windows and that most companies run windows, You don't see Mac workstations around, Apple on the other hand, is not just a software company its a company that makes computers with unique OS system that only works legally with their system. They do not allow other companies to use their OS many tried but Apple sued them. So if you want Parallels to get Mac on a PC well Dream ON because Apple doesn't like sharing! really they will sue everyone who tries to even copy their systems style like SAMSUNG.

Parallels Desktop 7 does work with Windows XP. Keep in mind though that it's been optimized for a Win 7 experience. :D

Will be Windows XP still supported on Parallels 7? :)

I'm planning on getting a MacBook Air with these operating systems:
Mac OS X Snow Leopard (obviously)
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
Windows 98 Second Edition
RedHat Linux
Windows XP will be on an existing Boot Camp partition that I can use in Parallels, and Windows 98 should work fine, but how will I install RedHat on it?

I'm afraid of what's going to happen in my computer if it gets a virus in virtual windows. Any solution for this?
Rafterman27 (2 years ago)
So, would I need to buy a Windows CD? I'm sick of using boot camp and considering your product.
