Guitarist and composer from Japan.
Living at Mt.Yatsugatake (in the middle of Japan) and composing music by feeling energy of our mother the Earth.
Pursuing ethnic music from various parts of the world to discover the matching harmony between Japanese and world music .
Playing with musicians from many different countries, and constantly exploring the ways to combine his guitar with various roots music around the world.
His aim is making harmony between Western music, Eastern music and the energy of nature.
In collaboration with Japanese traditional music -SYOMYO (Buddhism priest chants), Asian traditional music (Balinese Gamulan) and the ethnic music (Andes music,the Middle and Near East music) he has released many CDs and has held concerts throughout the world.
He performed Europe (Poland,Hungary,France,Italy,E ngland,Switzerland, Germany, Bulgaria ) and Asia ( Indonesia) .
By support of The Japan Foundation in 1997 he held a concert "Tatsuya Koumazaki and PANGAEA concert " in Budapest and in 1999 he did it at Roma Cultural center (Italy)　and at Sofia cultural palace (Bulgaria) sponsored by the embassy .
In 2001 he held concerts with Balinese Gamelan group in Bali by support of Japanese Club and Consulate.
In 2002 by support of The Japan Foundation he held performances "Tendai Syomyo and Tatsuya Koumazaki & Pangaea Concert" with Japanese Buddhist priests at Basilica di S.Francesco in Assisi (Italy) and at Acropolium in Carthage (Tunisia) for the peace of the world.
He is leading his group "Pangaea"since 1991.

小馬崎達也 - Tatsuya Koumazaki
自然の持つエネルギー感や、世界各地の民族音楽研究の成果を反映した楽曲を創作。
八ヶ岳山麓に住み、創作活動、演奏活動を行う。
日本伝統楽器、アジア伝統楽器、聲明（天台寺門聲明、真言聲明、天台聲明）、アンデス民謡、バリ民族音楽、中近東音楽、舞踏、朗読などと共演。
世界各国の民族音楽を直接体験する機会を得たことで独自の作曲法を見いだし、それらの現地の音楽家と共演。自分の中から生まれた音楽、これまでに培った西洋音楽と、新たに体験した民族音楽、そして自然との融合を目指す。
'91年より小馬崎達也＆PANGAEA＜パンゲア＞を主宰し活動を始める。

深居森林中央，沉浸在绿意、云雾、微风、星月、树影之中，让身心调节与森林的律动同步，以与大自然对话的方式作曲，乐章的速度便是风吹树梢的摆荡、和弦的明暗就是月亮与云朵的来去。
