the Palestine Festival of Literature is a traveling cultural roadshow that tours annually around Palestine.
Because of the difficulties Palestinians face under military occupation in traveling around their own country, the Festival travels to its audiences. In 2009 it visited Ramallah, Jenin, al-Khalil/Hebron and Bethlehem. To celebrate its year as Cultural Capital of the Arab World, the festival began and ended in Jerusalem.
