About Welcome to Pale Rider's Channels
I am always working to create more playlists of my favorite artists. If you don't see one you like yet, check back soon. You never know. My musical tastes run all over the world map. I love music. It has the ability to reach our deepest selves and express emotions that we could not possibly find words for.

About this user
Don't put me in a box. I listen to almost any kind of music as long as it shows musical knowledge, skill, and passion for the music. (Yo Yo Ma comes to mind very quickly)Classical, Opera, Pop, World music, Smooth Jazz, New Age, Country, Blue Grass, Fusion Jazz, Big Band (40's / 50's), Blues, Blues/Rock, contemporary Christian, instrumental, a capella, oldies RocknRoll, and classic Rock - all are included in my long list of likes.
Among my favorite artists - Andreas Vollenwieder, Kitaro, Jean-Michel Jarre, Basia, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Four Tops, Blood, Sweat & Tears, early Chicago (before they went bubblegum), Glenn Miller Band, Leo Kottke, Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson, Barbra Steisand, Pavarotti, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Joni Mitchell, Euge Groove, Chris Botti , Phil Driscoll, Doc Severinson, Herb Alpert, TLC, Fifth Dimension, Three Dog Night, Led Zeppelin, Harry Chapin, Yo Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Skaggs, Dixie Chicks, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Tommy James and the Shondells, Bobby Darin, Lou Christie, Jimmie Rodgers, The Platters, Johnny Horton, Marty Robbins, Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey, Bill Chase, Roy Orbison, Janis Ian, Janice Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Aaron Neville, Luther Vandross, and sooooooo many more.
Someone I recently discovered as a result of visiting youTube is Rob Martino. He plays the Chapman Stick, an unusual combination of bass and 6-string guitar, making 12 strings altogether but with a much different sound and technique from, say, a mandolin. You will see a link to my subscription to rpmartino below. Give yourself a treat today and check him out.
You may be getting the picture by now: if it's quality musicianship, I like it.
