Don't put me in a box. I listen to almost any kind of music as long as it shows musical knowledge, skill, and passion for the music. (Yo Yo Ma comes to mind very quickly)

Someone I recently discovered as a result of visiting youTube is Rob Martino. He plays the Chapman Stick, an unusual combination of bass and 6-string guitar, making 12 strings altogether but with a much different sound and technique from, say, a mandolin.
