About Me:

Freelance writer/novelist, beta tester, and former medical transcriptionist. Completed refresher advanced ceramics class spring 08 semester. It was nice getting back to traditional ties/roots.
Hometown:
Too many to count from extensive travel, tho' will always love NYC, Atlanta, Ga, & New Orleans, La
Country:
United States
Occupation:
Freelance writer, beta-tester, product & travel reviews (when possible), and multi-generational potter.
Companies:
Paisley Place Creations
Schools:
ECU Andrews School (top-ranked medical transcription, coding, & billing programs in the USA)
Interests:
Writing, reading, researching many topics for pleasure, and relearning to throw pottery on a pottery wheel after an absence of a few decades when I was last working in my grandmother's studio before her death. I hope to become a better potter and open some ideas to provide some article themes for various online and print magazines, news services, and newsletter I write for now.
Movies:
TV: Bones, Supernatural, Lost, Smallville, General Hospital (I said I wouldn't return to soaps again but, GH is my weakness), and Without A Trace when I can think to record the last one. Films include: Cold Mountain, The Last of the Dogmen, Castaway, The Lake House, The Phantom of the Opera (movie w/ Gerald Butler), A Few Good Men, and last but not least, GI Jane
Music:
Extremely eclectic: Anything by Prince, most of Enrique Iglesius' music, classical, reggae, blues, jazz, alternative, and rock. I do like some country music but not all of it. I can listen to about anything but I usually pick my favorites and play them directly on an Ipod
Books:
Anything by SE Hinton or VC Andrews. SE Hinton is the inspiration that gave me the courage to begin writing and submitting my work to publishers. Robert Frost, Edgar Allen Poe, Dylan Thomas, Walt Whitman, P. Shelby, and several other greats in the classical literature genre.

Hi. I figured I'd continue our discussion here. I am really sorry about what your life was like; no kid deserves that. Sounds like you and your brother did the right thing for your lives, ultimately, and you sound like you're very strong, and doing well. Good luck with your writing, and everything else you're trying to accomplish!

Just an absolute heartfelt amazing story of courage and determination. I thought I had problems :( I really am glad I added you as a friend and now I would like to talk to you more. For once I am at a loss for words and never heard of those conditions until you told me. So as my Nan would say you learn something new everyday of your life. Hugs and hope to speak to you soon. Do you have yahoo at all?
