Capitalism has failed you. Paint it Read is an unapologetically anarchist organization of creative individuals dedicated to developing a truly progressive society in the belly of the beast with art and humor as our lubricant.

The goal of our collective is to enable citizens to once again become the primary creators of culture rather than allowing big business to shape it for us. We aim to unite the disenfranchised through the arts, to construct local cooperatives to compete with dying capitalist institutions, and above all resurrect human dignity through the power of human creativity.

Paint it Read was founded by anarchist activists from the 2008 Nader/Gonzalez campaign. Unlike other organizations, we are not afraid to identify the capitalist system as the very cause of the problems we aim to end.

Some people are lovers, and some people are fighters. A true anarchist is both.
