@dsnopek Well, basically, one character=one syllable=one morpheme (every character has a meaning). But you can join 2, 3 or more morphemes to get a new word.

"Fire" + "car" = "train"

"Fire" + "car" + "stand" ="train station".

(Yeah, word-formation is so much easier in Chinese.)

@MrTobi3009 I love Pink Floyd, the Doors and Led Zeppelin but I also surprisingly like Lady Gaga. I hated her when I first heard her but after some decent songs I changed my mind - she's not bad. Go and listen. Strange but it's true.
