@jeff4bucks That '98 MSU game left probably the single most sickening feeling I've ever had after a Buckeyes game in all the years I've followed them....and that is saying something after the way the Bucks fared against mich in the 90s. Number one in the country all season and can't hold a 15 po...

Watched this one on ESPN Classic the other day. With the exception of the other team passing the ball around like crazy, this one definately harkened back to the Woody and Bo days.
Buckeye offense was pretty anemic that day (especially when Clarett wasn't on the field), but they made the plays t...

Interesting old clip.
I have to ask though...do you seriously think these are the three best receivers ever at OSU? Galloway and Glenn may be in the conversation, but there are several I think of before Chris Sanders enters the mix.

Not only did Eddie George go absolutely crazy running in this one, but it got the Illinois monkey off Coop's back. He had lost 6 of his first 7 against the Illini coming in (they had also won their last four trips into the 'shoe) and ended up winning 5 of his last 6.

I remember thinking back in '94 that Coop finally had the monkey off his back. Well, it climbed back up there fairly quickly.
His teams usually seemed to play much more relaxed against Mich when a Big Ten or national title wasn't at stake.
Take the '98 game..his only other win. Two weeks earlier ...

Watched this on ESPN Classic last week. Another typical hard hitting OSU-UM game from the Hayes/Bruce-Schembechler era....a lot more yards through the air than in previous years though!

Admittedly I'm nostalgic for this time period, but I always loved that midfield logo, and the track never bothered me either. Besides, it isn't like the Bucks were alone in the Big Ten playing on carpet at this time.
I may be biased against them, but check out the '79 and '81 games a...

Sure their team has a pretty fair lead in the overall series. However, you can break it down a million different ways.
They got out to a huge lead before the Bucks got a win...they built a huge lead by 1950....our team whittled away at it for 18 years until one of our former assistants joined the...

'91 was not exactly what I'd call a great season for the Bucks....Robert Smith quit the team before it started, and the team struggled mightily against teams with winning records.
They played pretty well against subpar competition though, including this one.

Very close game....much closer than the final score indicated.
This was only the second (and last I believe) season that every team in the Big Ten played every other team. The '82 Bucks had gotten screwed out of the Rose Bowl when they beat the team up north but finished at 7-1 in the Big Ten, wh...
