For coolness contests, I would suggest a Swellow. Aerial Ace and Wing Attack is a great combination moveset. Quick attack is great if you have another move that has a higher appeal if you go first.

@icyfreeze209CP Actually, you can catch some of the old pokemon, like psyduck, magicarp, pikachu, dodrio, goldeen, hoothoot, abra, geodude, zubat, and some others I can't think of off the top of my head. A lot of them can only be found in the Safari Zone if I remember correctly.

Natures do matter greatly with pokemon. For example, Taillow and Swellows are naturally very fast pokemon, and I think it's best to have a nature that increases defense or special defense.
