Recording from Console: Hauppauge (before Fatal Frame II part 6(?) I used Dazzle)
Audio: I just use an external microphone (Just a cheap $20 Logitech one). If I'm using Fraps, I use that to record audio. If I'm using something else, I use Sound Recorder.
Then I just run everything through Vegas Pro to get what I want. I usually mix the commentary and game audio together, then render the footage in 10-15 minute parts.
