Blackbird by Alter Bridge... not really the greatest sound quality I just recorded it on my mac... sounds beastly with my rig but you'd never be able to tell. I'm not the greatest player in the world and I made some mistakes, most notably I did not finger pick the bridge between one of the chorus' and the guitar solo... this was intentional on my part as I do not feel fully comfortable with that section yet, thus I just played the clean chords. The guitar is a PRS Custom 24 20th anniversary with all stock pickups; I find them to have enough bass and the trebels to be un-shrill like the Stratocaster that's my backup. AMP: Fender Deville 2x12 with celestions... I love how much "slop" the speakers have when palm muting on high gain and how it legato's notes with my bass pickup when tremelo picking. I'm running a Radial Plexitube as my distortion, which is a wholelly badass pedal. The rig when I bought it cost me 800$ but nowadays the amp alone will set you back about a grand, with the pedal being a bastardized version of my two channel which is no longer produced for another 2-300$. I don't claim to be the best player in the world, but this rig has served me well in helping define my sound and feel for a couple years now, and I don't intend on changing anything about it as I think it sounds better than a lot of higher end amps like Mesa's. Again I apologize for sheisty playing and sound quality. Enjoy.
