Naturally I have a soul/R&B/Folk influence, my mother is most definitely the blame. "Baduizm" being the "most" influential Body of work for me musically and creatively. I remember always listening to 90s R&B Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah, Missy Elliot, Blackstreet, etc. I dont know how I became a rapper lol. Probably doubting the fact that I had a "voice", I just discovered it in the past few years and have been incorporating singing in recordings just for fun. I recently decided to take singing seriously noticing that sometimes i cant relay the right emotion without it being created around a melody or different vocal tones. Sometimes just rapping doesn't deliver the right emotion for me and I dont want to confuse the audience. I started writing music at 12 years old in English and haven't stopped since. I really owe that to my English Teacher and my boy mario for helping me discover a different way for me to create. I began being drawn to the rock genre and more into Hip Hop in late Elementary.

Creatively I draw influence for writing from just about anything, something I've seen, heard or experienced. Cliche I know, but thats what I believe art is, Taking "your" perception of something and explaining it. I've been creating an Album for the past two years and its almost complete!!!!! "The Ailment: Speaking Mute", to describe it sonically... Indie/Folk Rock, Soul, Hip Hop by genre... Big Drums... More Big Drums, Slow and Fast tempos... Its definitely a potluck, but its a concept album and what I believe will be very enjoyable! Expect something soon... I'll only be what you make me!
