@Tampa0123456789 Some of these thunderheads can have cloud tops above 50k feet. I flew a few months ago from DCA to RDU and we dipsy doodled around cells before approaching the field. No real turbulence, but we were crusing at F230 and you could barely see all the way to the cloud tops.

@USARMz No, not really. Even light turbulence will make these sounds.

Wow, looked like a pretty serious crab angle from that shot, for a 15kt x-wind. I assume it was steady all the way down. Nice bit of flying.
