Reverend Felix Worthen received his Calling into Gospel Ministry in March, 1994 and was ordained in August, 1995. Former pastor of two Churches--Piney Grove Baptist Church; Waverly Hall, Georgia and New Rock Springs Baptist Church: Whitesville, Georgia where he served the area for 16 years as Dean of the Shiloh Union Sunday School Congress.

On June 9th, 2002, Reverend Felix Worthen accepted the call as Pastor of Providence Missionary Baptist Church: Seale (Lato), Alabama and was officially installed on Sunday, September 1, 2002 -- a profound "born-again" prophetic Gospel Preacher and Evangelist. He serves as Dean of the Mount Hebron District Association--an area of over 24 covenant churches, with untiring dedication.

Pastor Worthen's soul-stirring sermons and dynamic oracles of the Gospel have been instrumental in leading many souls to Christ. He has incorporated into the Church a wide-spread Radio Ministry on Clear Channel 101.3 FM broadcasting each and every Sunday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

He is the CEO, Founder and President of "Vison Ministries", a CD, Video and DVD Ministry which further provides a means for the Preached Word of God to be heard throughout the surrounding area and as far away as Iraq.

Pastor Worthen is the Author of a Series of life changing Bible Seminar publications designed to inspire and motivate you to open up your eyes to the blessing God has for you when you submit your self yourself to His Will and obey his command. He has been endowed with the tools necessary to help you realize where you are and where you need to be to keep your eyes blessings flowing. Seminars include, but are not limited to: "Intimacy in the Eyes of God" (2005); "Triangle of Blessing I"; "The New Birth"; Born Again-The Christan Transformation:(2006): "Building a Christan Life" ; "Breaking The Curse: (2007),m "Triangle of Blessing II", just to name a few. He is steadily expounding and developing more and more ways to reach out to the needs affecting our communities and God's people.

A 1987 graduate of Harris County High School, Pastor Worthen furthered his education at Columbus State University; Columbus Ga and in 1993 received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

Born in Shiloh , Georgia where he resides with his wife, Velisa and children, Chardonay and Terrell, He is the son of the Late Sis. Bessie Lee Worthen and Deacon Charlie (Doris) Worthen.
