Wow... what great video. BUT, from what I can remember from 1964 this was the drive down more toward Kalka back into the valley rather than down to the Dagshai railroad area. I walked this road with students from the school on our way to play soccer football against the big school below.... Can'...

I taught at the Sikh school in Dagshai in 1964/65 when the military cantonment was busy on the opposite side of the mountain just before the 1964 war with Pak. Sri Joginder Singh was the Headmaster and I taught English and math. I don't know but I do wonder what happened to the old school site ...

I knew many of the military personnel who left Dagshai to fight in the Pak/Indian war of 1964.
