@pokemonmaster9241 - different tunings on each neck. Some chords aren't possible in certain tunings, that's why pedal steel guitars got invented from lap steel/console guitars like this (the pedals and knee levers retune strings). Pedal steel players tend not to do as much in terms of bar slants.
