Crossing Abilities Public Meeting
This is the public meeting regarding the building of an ALL INCLUSIVE playground in Monroe County.
Crossing Abilities: Monroe County's All Inclusive Playground is being supported by Big Pocono Little League Challenger Division, which allows disabled children throughout Monroe County to play baseball/softball.
BPLL is a certified not-for-profit 501(c)(3). Incorporated in 2007, the Challenger program operates exlusively as a non-profit educational organization providing a chance for children of all capabilities to play sports, and learn teamwork and sportsmanship.
They are run 100% by a dedicated group of safety-oriented volunteers. BPLL won the 2009 national ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program) award and 2008 regional safety manual award.

2009 American Freedom Festival
A free community event featuring great food, fabulous entertainment and fun! Included was live music, roving magicians, raffles, face painting, local organizations, and ending with a fireworks display. As in years past, the event took place at Dansbury Park on Day Street East Stroudsburg, PA
