Shirley Lukenbill is a Lecturer in the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin where she has been teaching in the field of Children's Literature for the past 28 years. She is also a librarian at Wooldridge Elementary School in Austin. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Southwestern Louisiana and a Master's degree in library science from Louisiana State University.
