This page is the video broadcast outlet of the Public Affairs Office of the Civil Air Patrol Pennsylvania Wing Encampment. The CAP is the official civilian, non-profit, volunteer auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. It pursues a threefold mission of Aerospace Education, Emergency Services, and Cadet Programs.
The Encampment is a week-long school for cadets, ages 12-20, where they are afforded exciting opportunities such as training on military facilities, Orientation Flights aboard military aircraft, and classroom lectures on numerous topics from Civil Air Patrol and military instructors.
Encampment is a prerequisite for many opportunities for CAP cadets, such as earning the Billy Mitchell Award, and attending other National Cadet Special Activities.
