διαφθορά, αποσύνθεση, because of the every day corruption in our government and many citizens the diaspora does not do anything. I read about it and everyday that we talk at the office that's the conclusion we come to.
Yes there is corruption everywhere but we are talking about our homeland.
Every article or post on my group on facebook is about corruption in every branch of government, business and people. I am getting so sick of reading about these sh...t that I am loosing my interest in my own homeland. The only thing that keeps me going is the love for the people, the 1/3, who worked with honor. The rest are all crooks. I might be off a little on the percentage.

9) get the oil and hydrogen which is qualified that it exists in the greek territory and it is worth more than 900 billion

6)make alliances with russia(as said before) sebia israil armenia and bulgaria and then see if the turks dare to challenge us

7)make laws to help heavy indrusty to come in greece

8)claim north epirus and east cyprus, stop the turks from taking thrace the same way they took cyprus, by claiming that a lot of turks live there(in the reality they are just muslims not turks who by violence try to turn christians to muslims).

3)as 2 other eu countrys did(i cant rememebr which right now) cut the whole dept or at least the 70%(70% of ot is interest and 30% isnt even greek ,around the balkan wars and ww1 turkey owned a lot of money to the allies and the allies said that when greeks liberate a provice from the turks they will take a part of the dept so till now we pay turkey's dept for the money that they took and built thinks for them, so we paied because won and took land)

4)have a more dynimic goverment that will answer to the fyrov turkey and albania who want to steal our land and history

5)unite with cyprus

but even if u cant help greece as a country every greek of diaspora who has the ability must try to help their family and parents in greece when they need it. the real way of helping greece in my opinion are these

1)kick the illegal foreigners so new jobs will open for the greeks and stop unemployment

2)if eu and nato doesnt help our interests (as both proved) we must leave and join russia's side which lately showed many interest about greece (1)asked to pay the whole dept of greece{but of course eu refused}2)asked greece to make an agreement to help us get the oil from south crete and if we fail they would pay the whole cost 3) if the turks continiue to threaten us and want to steal our oil they will take care of them.4)supported unification of greece-cyprus )

i agree to many thinks with the text but i have many dissagreements.back at the 1821 the greeks and the fillelines(foreign people who loved greece) helped at the revolution and pressed their goverments to help us but in a modern economy the ways to help ur motherland are less.for example if the 0,5% of the population asked to help greece do u think usa would follow their advice?no goverment would help any other country without something to gain.also a very important(and the best for me) way to help Hellas is foreign ivenstments in greece from rich greeks of diaspora but this wont give them any profit(except for helping their country) for two reason.firstly the greek goverment doesnt help or support such moves and restrics those people a lot.secontly workers and materials in greece are more expensive than countrys like china

Most of the day today at the office I was reading how the Greek Government works. Than I had a discussion with my partner later on about it. I feel for the people of Greece but he doesn't because he calls u guys cowards.
He went further to say that 3/4 of the population want to stay with Europe. I ran into a very interesting article from a newspaper from Canada. I will forward it to you.
