What works for community nutrition programming?
More than 150 participants joined the Infant & Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) Project at PATH on July 19, 2011 for a half-day meeting on community programming to prevent malnutrition during the first 1,000 days of life. Speakers from five countries and the project's partners shared challenges, experiences, and future directions for community nutrition interventions during a lively discussion moderated by Denise Lionetti, IYCN Project Director.
Congressional briefing on public private partnerships
On September 27, 2010, PATH, Global Health Council, and Management Sciences for Health sponsored a congressional briefing on leveraging public-private partnerships to improve maternal, newborn, and child health.
Reaching women and children with innovative technologies
On July 21, 2010, global health experts from PATH, VillageReach, Management Sciences for Health, and the US Agency for International Development spoke at a congressional briefing about ways to reach women and children in the developing world with lifesaving innovations. The briefing was sponsored by PATH in conjunction with the Global Health Council and Management Sciences for Health. US Congressmen Albio Sires and Brian Baird also spoke in support of technologies for maternal and child health.
