Mw3 is shooter and Bf3 is a war game. I mean mw3 is more action filled so the guns sound like it is an action movie. I don´t know what weapons really sound like but usually Bf is more realistic in every category.

Hopefully you can play stealht style. In far cry 2 you couldn´t snipe because all the guns were so noisy the enemies alweys found you immideately. There was that silent dart shooting sniper rifle that had like 5 ammos and silenced pistol but they weren´t enough.
