Performance and energy is great. Voice is mediocre.

I passed on the new Styx's concert in my hometown and instead flew to San Diego to see Dennis DeYoung, the REAL voice of Styx! It was awesome... my only complaint is that it wasn't long enough!

Just saw Dennis perform 2 nights ago, and he and his band were fabulous! He looks quite different now, but he still has that magic! Love his voice!!!

@rcgamer For some reason I can hear the whispers best from the iPod. I feel quite certain the words are "Styx" but I can't tell what comes before that. I can see why these guys would want to play Dennis's songs live; after all, they want to make a living performing to large crowds. But why o why even bother with a studio remake of Dennis DeYoung's song? No one can compare with DDY's voice! Really making me lose respect for them.

One of the many little-known gems from Dennis DeYoung. Too bad I was too young to know about them back when this album came out. But I have the CDs now, and I'm going to see Dennis in a few weeks! He's still awesome.
