@matthew2chua given that we're all using roughly the same body mechanics, a good punch is always going to be the same technique. if you actually compare forms to real fighting you can see how the cross over. forms are training tools, and they dont look how they would in a fight.

@MrSFblack im not entirely sure what you're point was that last comment. all of you're arguments seem entirely based on common myths and misconceptions of shaolin. as YOU yourself told me, you need to get your facts straight.

in his book he talked about only wanting to learn to fight while at shaolin, and it was only after having fighting experience that he started understanding how traditional forms were used. he teaches traditional stuff in other videos. and the forms dont look exactly the same when applied

@MrStevenFraser i have never heard of anyone else freezing their lobster. we don't anyway. it goes from the store in to the pot. i think it would suck to be boiled obviously but we're still animals, and we just prefer our food not raw
