Thank you so much for these ads.
They really are like stepping into a time machine, it's freaky 'cause you think you'll never see them again and yet here they are. Its like a bit of childhood preserved. Very cool...thanks again |

Hi, there was a Cherry Ripe ad from the 70s (maybe early 80s) that was sung with an Irish accent:
"I gave my love a cherry, one sunlight morn And dared my kinfolk anger, with love to roam Ahh, cherry ripe, cherry ripe, sweet as forbidden fruit" Do you know it? And have you got it? I would kill to see that again. |

Another classic ad that I couldnt find was the Coolibah ad that went something like "where do you hide your coolibah".
I am of a similar vintage and I can remember as a primary school kid on a bus trip playing a game with the class (boys v girls) to see who could remember and sing the most commercials. It was quite fun actually. Oh..those were the days. |

Excellent channel mate! Sincere thank you for saving such Australian oldie goodies especially Jigsaw clips. Bass player Denis Tucker is a close friend and mentor. He also played with Bobby & Laurie in the Rondells and Backed Merv Benton in the Tamlars!
