This really seems to lose connection with trade reform in a way that belittles the importance of programs like Fair Trade.... For example, isn't buying "3 for the price of 3" a precise example of FAIRNESS rather than being unfair? Our desire for cheap consumer products and "deals," after all, has fueled injustice to the unseen producers. Why is being tall in basketball unfair, rather than a sign of natural ability? Why is an ant carrying cookies unfair, when ants are social insects that share what they find with the hive? And I hate to say it, but lions hunting prey, however defenseless, creates a demeaning analogy that opens up unpleasant responses from those who (wrongly) promote "social Darwinism."

I know of course that you intend a positive message here and I support Oxfam.... but this video is troubling in ways that undercut the importance of your mission.

I watched OXFAM US Climate Change video.. wonderful that OXFAM is an NGO that looks at global issues globally.. often, NGOs work in parallel, sometimes in a negative competitive way.. in Senegal, several NGOs fight for local villages.. it in the end becomes a stigma if as a community isn't partner of some NGO.. shame on the western world if that is happening.. I'd love to work for NGO that thinks globally.. how about me teaming up with you like Coldplay? or like Angelina Jolie for UNHCR..

pls check my channel.. under website is my LinkedIn profile.. pls watch our Earth Hour 2009 in Amsterdam video in my Vlog.. my mission is raising awareness towards COP15 UN Climate Change Conference.. would love to attend & dedicate my passion for the good cause..

any chances to team up with OXFAM.. my dedicated cinematographer, Nickolas Rossi from LA could shoot amazing promo videos, tailormade by us for OXFAM :)
