I'm a fried out flower child, a fiercely proud Gael & a rebellious hillbilly, now retired. I do what I want when I want & no longer have to deal with the outside world unless I want to. Don't let the pic go to your head, that was nearly 40 years ago!!! We have two acres adjoining a wildlife preserve in the Texas Hill Country & rarely leave the property.

I was a secretary at the U. of Texas for 20 years & a waitress & childcare worker before that. Now I just write poetry & enjoy the Hill Country. I design & make most of my clothes by hand, otherwise I'd never find any decent frontier wear!

A.A. in Communications, Austin Community College, 1989. They wouldn't let me have a double degree & since I'd just had my third son I decided to go for Communications instead of History. But History is my first love & I pretty well live in the historical past.
Interests
Digging in the dirt and growing things, especially roses; designing & making my clothes by hand; country cooking from scratch; taking the occasional trip out of town to a concert or other special event.
