I personally specialize in the Outer Banks towns of Duck and Corolla. However, our company has agents specializing in communities on the Outer Banks ranging from the 4-Wheel Drive Area, on the Northern-most part of the Outer Banks beginning at the Virginia border, to Nags Head located just North of Hatteras Island.

I love working in real estate because I love houses and I believe in our real estate market here at the beach. I think it is important to specialize in an area and to preview all listings as they come on the market. I always know which Duck and Corolla homes show better than others, which ones are the best investments for the asking price, and which ones could be great with just a few cosmetic changes.

We are fortunate to have real estate that owners can rent weekly to vacationers to earn income to help support the property and still come down and enjoy their homes during their own vacation time. That is truly a rarity in real estate.

I first came to the Outer Banks in 1994 and built a vacation rental home in Corolla in 1996. I moved to the Outer Banks in 1998 from Alexandria, Virginia.

I loved living in the historic section of Old Town, Alexandria but I found myself sitting at my desk at work thinking about putting my toes in the sand on the beach in Whalehead.

Houses have always been a passion for me. I'm addicted to HGTV, Coastal Living and Architectural Digest. I tend to spend my vacations driving around neighborhoods looking at houses for sale and comparing the market wherever I am to our market here in the Outer Banks. I have a real estate magazine collection you would not believe!
