INNATELY DECENT, EBULLIENT,
MAGNETIC, PATRIOTIC, TENDER,

"That movie is making my family

For me "The Earthling" Mirrors
his "SPIRITUAL JOURNEY,"
His hard-earned, end -of-life
ARTISTIC OFFSPRING-cum-EPITAPH,
he so endeavored to bring about for
himself / HIS COUNTRY / his fans
whose affection he so guarded
with zeal lest he lose it perchance.
Hopefully, generations of his fans
will appreciate this THOUGHTFUL artist
"whose life was filled with concerns
for other people and creatures,"
his singular MYSTICAL RELATIONSHIP
to the animal kingdom --
William Holden Wildlife Foundation.
{(iGBi)}'s GIFT to us are LEGION.
NOTABLE TIDBITS:
William Holden, respected as a
"Man's Man," whose ancestry can be
traced all the way back to
one of Our Founding Fathers
and first President
"GEORGE WASHINGTON"
through his maternal line.
Near the end of Bill's life,
he agonized over the course of
his PERSONAL-life's journey
with these confessions:
I wish I could have been
close with my father,
I wishI could have been
close with Ardis (his ex-wife),
I wish I could have been
close with my sons.
Bill Holden's Stepdaughter,
Virginia Holden Gaines,
relates in her "Memoir"
about her mother Ardis (Bill's ex-wife):
I noticed a large framed portrait of
Dad on a small table by her bed.
It was carefully placed so she would
see him in the morning and
again before going to sleep.
She saw me looking at it and said,
'He's my company.'
Then she added,
'These days I wish we hadn't
quarreled so much over the years --
it wasn't necessary.'
Around her neck was a gold chain
upon which she hung
her favorite pendant,
a big lion's tooth.
In 1979, around the time of the conception
and production of "The Earthling,"
Bill Holden paid $25 to join
the Neptune Society
that carried out members' wishes
to be cremated after death,
the ashes to be dispersed at the place
of their choice; he made certain
that no funeral or memorial service
would be held in his honor.
Ricky Schroder, the affecting, engaging
co-star in "The Earthling,"
Named his handsome first-born,
HOLDEN to pay homage to
William Holden, to express his affection
and gratitude for Their BONDING
while sojourning in their mutual endeavor:
"The Earthling."

Hi Jenny,
Been a long time...
With the impending new layout YouTube is imposing, I'll be getting back to line-dance, which is what I love.
Just learned "Cooley's Reel," Irish tune and fun dance, all to my liking.
Wanted to say THANK YOU and Hello!
Will be stopping-by often.
Take Care, Dear Friend,
