The boat is a Beneteau 393. 39 feet long, thats 11.62 meters. Currently in the Caribbean in Grenada :)

Yes. Few use Windvanes anymore. An Auto Pilot is best. They run on 12 volts DC and draw very little say 2.5 amps per hour and unaffected by wind changes. A Wind Vane is set to the direction of the wind, its not electrical but all mechanical. When the wind changes the boat goes o...
