FACTS ABOUT THE FINNISH LANGUAGE

* Finnish is spoken approximately by 6 million people in Finland, Sweden, Russia, USA, Canada etc.

* It's a part of the Uralic language family with Estonian and Hungarian.

* Finnish is gender-free which means there are no "he" or "she" words in Finnish ("hän" is being used for both of them". Nouns don't have genders.

* Finnish is roughly agglunative (words take different forms)

* There are 15 basic cases (and some other dialectal cases, too...) and the plurals.

* "Nominit" (nouns, adjectives, verbs and numerals) take forms by the case system.

* Verbs take forms by 6 person types (I, you, he, she etc..), 4 tenses (eat, ate, eaten etc..) and 6 moods.

* There are also hundreds of other suffixes and affixes and their combinations that are used depending on the situation

* This means that one word can be in 2253 different forms

* Words are rarely in their basic forms (dictionary form)
