As in well written music of any sort especially folk & classical guitar it evokes a clever melding of cultural influences which can appeal to the listener's background or musical environment.
From my own viewpoint I can detect such musical virtues ranging from a happy jig to a soulful lament and even a yodel! ~ [in addition to, as you say, flamenco].
No doubt, others will "discover' this piece and your music, and hopefully enjoy it as much as I have. Many thanks. Russell
