Iy sounds like you do not knoiw what you are talking about. I have been a psychotherapist for 30 years, trained in hypnosis. Meditation and hypnoisis are not the same, not even the same state. It is tru that someone whoi might learn the initial method and does not continue to recive guidance could use it as a way to space out, etc. The fault is in the misuse. If someone practices under the guidance of a qualified instructor, even if there are scabt benefits sometimes, it is extreme;y un;lekely there would be negative resultds.
