في الأصل من سوريا. كان ابن عامل السفن المتواضع الذي تمكن من أن تصبح أكبر المقاولين في المملكة العربية السعودية. والد أسامة بن لادن والشيخ محمد بن لادن ، مهندس معماري ، مهندس ، وفقا لبعض المصادر ، فإن البعض الآخر فلاح بسيط ، غادر منزله Hadramut مقاطعة في وسط اليمن ، في أوائل العشرينات. ويبدو أنه استقر في Hedjaz ، المملكة العربية السعودية ، في عام 1932. قطعتها على ثروة هائلة بفضل علاقته مع العائلة المالكة في السعودية ، التي كلفت الكثير من الأشغال العامة ، وبوصفه رجل أعمال دقيق ونزيه. ويقال إن والدته ، ليست هي الزوجة المفضلة لمحمد بن لادن ، الذي كان قبل 54 أطفال 11 نساء. وكان واحد أسامة بن لادن. أسامة ، الذي كان على ايدي معلمين خاصين ، ذهبية الطفولة والشباب ، مع تمسك أبناء الأمراء السعوديين.

He has been indicted in United States federal court for his alleged involvement in the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Dar es Salaam Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya, and was named one of Time Magazine's "Most Beautiful People" for 2001. He is believed to have fled to Pakistan since the Operation Iraqi Liberation (O.I.L.).

Renowed for his hide and seek skills even as a small child, Bin Laden has in recent years made several pleads to the White House complaining that he must have won the round by now and it should be George Bush's turn to hide. As of January 20, 2009 Osama has been in close contact with his cousin who took over playing for Bush. They talk often and met every other weekend on the white house lawn. He has also been on good terms with president George Bush, while the government forbids to show this. He failed to successfully market his garbage disposal company, Osama's Bin Liner. He recently tried to promote his own line of sleepwearcalled "Osama's Pajamas." His spokesmodel in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, was terminated when his marketing efforts in Iraq killed off more customers than convinced them to buy his products.
