So, I gotta take the stance that the song itself isn't THAT bad of a song... it's just... it's just kinda dumb. If it was a fan made thing, i'd be perfectly ok with it, but to hear this is the actual chocobo theme for the game? That's just... it's really dumb guys.

This song brings me to tears almost every time.

Arjen is kind of notorious for disliking his own vocals. He has a very frail voice that he does a lot too to make it sound the way it does. Honestly regardless of how he thinks his voice sounds the end result is always pretty awesome and has a certain affect on the mood of a song
