Why is that this cutscene reminds me when Shadow warped into Prison Island in Shadow the Hedgehog? Must have been all of those flowing waters from the pipes.

The cutscene still definetly showed the fact that ut was originally a Nintedo's Wii game, it's too colorful.

This is definetly not one of my favorite Sonic openings. Where Sonic puts his hand isn't helping either. Hopefully the writers become more expert at writing stories like this.

This is why it's a modified Storybook game (only with Sonic games instead of storybooks). It was probably modified from the "Through the Looking Glass" storybook, the Chess set references survived in the form of Character Types in the London Olympic games.

Why wait for 2012? Why not just release the new games now in 2011?

After all, Generations was originally planned as Wii and DS games released in June the 23rd.

And there's the still missing 3rd Sonic title for this year, unless it got reformatted into a Wii U game..

Not only they've reused the props from City Escape and Perfect Chaos, they seem to also have reused the props from Empire City. At least they didn't reused materials from Project Diva.

This definetly feels more like the high speed boss fights in Unleashed, like the Egg Lan...

The cutscene is pretty, the details of the level is pretty nice, eventhough as if the 3D models were borrowed from other games and projects. The gameplay though isn't as dramatic as the originial and is played more like a level than a boss fight.

Well, Sonic Generations is more in the line of Sonic Colors and the Storybook series, plus intermixed with the Sonic Rivals series. While Sonic Unleashed was more in the line of sonic '06 and Sonic Adventure.

Hopefully SEGA will soon release that hidden top secret Sonic game.

Sky Sanctuary somehow looked much more nicer in the trailer, it isn't as detailed as expected. Parts of it though certainly looked like Glyphic Canyon in Shadow the Hedgehog and the ruins of Soleanna Forest in Sonic '06.

Yes, the images of the two in the sky and the Game Over title kinda give the impression that the two of them ended up dead. Especially since that images in the sky are usually reserved for departed or far away loved ones.

It's certainly much more detailed than the ones in Secret Rings, Wii's Unleashed, Black Knight, and Sonic Colors.
