Orinda Horsemens Association is a unique treasure in the SF Bay area. OHA was established in 1968 as a cooperative horse pasture for the local children in the then sleepy town of Orinda, near Berkeley, CA. Many years later OHA moved to another further-from-town location. We took over a cattle lease on the land that drains into the EBMUD water district San Pablo Reservoir. Currently there are 38 horses, 31 members and 14 associate members, mostly adults and their families.
