Rare track paying tribute to Hi-Way 39 Drive-in Theatre (1955-1997) For 42 years, this Drive-in Theatre gave many people (especially kids growing up) great memories before it got turned into a fucking Wal-Mart no less.

You can buy the album directly from the band in their website: http://www.thespooky.com
Buy the New -Halloween Night 7"- on hostagerecords.com on their ORDER CURRENT DAMAGE link. Act Fast... they're nearly sold out!
There are a few bands that have their own signature sound in the modern world: The Other (DE), The Crimson Ghost (DE), Blitzkid (USA), The Spook (DE), Calabrese (USA), Shadow Reichenstein (USA), Nim Vind (CA) and more great acts... The Spooky can be added to the list. For good measure of course (hell, in my opinion they would be perfect in the FiendForce family). Long before all the bands I listed before you, The Spooky was keeping the flame alive when there was no one playing this type of music. Established in 1995 by Mike Monster. Staying true to the Horror Punk ethics added with OC Punk sound in the early 80's championed by TSOL, Mad Parade, Social Distortion, Agent Orange which is something rare in these times and takes serious balls to successfully pull it off! The band got wide recognition when Duane Peters (U.S. Bombs/Die Hunns/Exploding Fuck Dolls/Gunfight/The Great Unwashed) signed them to his Disaster Records and unleashed their debut slasher: Ribcage 7". The Spooky sounds like a band that you would've picked up by now but the fact of the matter is this band is criminally underrated like many greats in the past. It is time to break this curse. They're the real deal and they're here to stay.
The Spooky was crowned Smash Hit of the Week on Surf and Destroy Radio for their masterpiece "Damned and Evil" from their new 7" come back single "Halloween Night" out on Hostage Records! Listen Accordingly http://hostagerecords.com/hostage_rec...
