About The Orb of Ra
Welcome to the home of an experiment in online storytelling.
In 2006 Paul A. Barlow undertook the mission of creating a long running short episodic online series. Set in Hamilton, New Zealand, The Orb of Ra was his first attempt at a YouTube based series - made as part of his Masters Study at the Waikato Institute of Technology.
This is the finished result - after a year of experimentation in various compression and storytelling techniques, based on research of other online series and the common elements they share.
