Anne's story is what this channel is all about. From a very young age living in a remote village in Kenya, Anne experienced hardships that are unfathomable to many. You can hear her story in the video on this channel entitled "Anne's Story."
Because of her hardships she set her mind on making a difference for other young women in her village and she set off on a journey that has brought her half way around the world.
Operation Well Worth It grew out of Anne's dream but that dream has sprouted wings since a man named Warren, a former hospital administrator and CEO, took up the cause and has joined Anne on this journey. At the interection of Anne's dream and Warren's drive they have watched their God order their steps. The hope of the first phase of Operation Well Worth It was to raise enough money to have a fresh water well drilled in the village of Angiro so that the people, for the first time in their lives, could have clean drinking water and young girls would no longer be forced to make an 8 mile hike on foot each day to carry water for the family - like Anne did.
That goal was reached just before Christmas 2010 and you can see evidence of the people of the village gathering to partake of water from the new well in the video entitled "Operation Well Worth It - Merry Christmas."
If you would like to sign up on our email list and join us as we continue to work to make an even greater difference in the village of Angiro, you can do so on our facebook page.
