The mission of the Independent Adoption Center (IAC) is to provide open adoption placement and counseling to birth and adoptive families to ensure that every child grows up feeling loved and supported.
With 30 years of experience, the IAC is a pioneer in open adoption. In open adoption, birth parents get to choose their child's adoptive parents and are encouraged to have ongoing contact with their child.
A counseling-based agency, the IAC is also one of the only adoption agencies in the United States that has never had exclusionary policies based on age, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, ethnic background, color, or race.
