Onward Neighborhood House is a community-based organization that assists families and individuals in need by providing access to a wide range of programs to create opportunities for long-term success. We offer an early childhood program, an after school program, senior services, a food pantry, family support services and community technology classes. Approximately 950 families and 5,500 individuals participate in Onward House programs each year.
Originally founded as a Presbyterian church in 1893, Onward House has served Chicago's ever-changing West Town community for over 100 years. In 2008, we opened a second site in the underserved Belmont Cragin neighborhood on Chicago's northwest side.
