Deadline for 2009 nominations to the $120,000 award program is December 1, 2009.

The Individual Artist Award recognizes a professional artist including the head/director of an arts organization. The value of the award is $50,000. One recipient will receive a cash award of
$35,000. The recipient will nominate a promising new or emerging individual talent in the same field. The new or emerging individual talent will receive a cash award of $15,000. Five short-listed
finalists will each receive $2,000 and a framed certificate.

The Arts Organization Award recognizes a not-for profit or commercial arts organization involved
in the arts or cultural industries in Ontario. The value of the award is $50,000. One recipient will receive a cash award of $50,000. Five short-listed finalists will each receive $2,000 and a framed certificate.
