Onomastique

Onomastique means the entomology of proper names. We talk about what we can refer to. Proper names are given to everything from tangible objects to ephemeral emotional states. When we cease to name or change a name-we are altering our reality. At the root of all names, is an opportunity to release them from loaded cages of definitions tacked to them, sending their essence back into the pool of the collective conscious or universe. Music and art can help people relate to reality without seeking to define or discuss it. Expression doesn't always need to have definition. When was the last time you didn't know what hit you?
