The human intellect, the vessel in which knowledge is contained, is not large enough to rationalize the world. Man's a hodgepodge of contradictions. He's decisive and wishy-washy simultaneously. He contemplates the heavens, lies to his boss and gives money to hobos. These things distinguish him from any and all known life-forms. He is the planet's bane & its saving grace. Whether individual men believe in a metaphysical plane is immaterial.
