@sauja32 All things considered, yeah, but parhaps since this is 'supposed' to be her breakdown song, it's on purpose. Could have been done better if that was the case even so, though.

@pudgeuncle Hell, I'm not going off of just who's in it, I just like what I've seen so far (Not much, but what's up on Youtube so far is pretty damn impressive.) Didn't know about the other revivals, though. It's going to be an interesting season, really all of those sound like they'd be great, b...

Brilliant. Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant. Even better than the Mandy Patankin version from the old concert Dvd, and that's been the best I've seen or heard of for this song for a long time. Absolutely perfect in every way, builds, has perfectly creafted laugh moments, wonderfully overac...

@shyman99 Mmm, yes, because anything different is, by definition, bad. Of course.
Really, live performance is the only opportunity artists have to revisit old material, change it up, explore new avenues, whatever. And considering their continuing talent and genius I think Fagen and Becker have a ...

Love Becker's solo(s?) here.
Oh, and I think DestroyerX61 was reffering to the beard, not the ability to try and cash in on a once-great series and end up generally dumping it in the gutter.

Best recording/performance of this song that's out there. The solos are beautiful, and the little variations Fagen puts into the phrases (the flatness in 'Or so they say,') are perfect across the board. A song that soars and moves; particulary here.

There is nothing wrong in this performance. Fagen's voice goes gutteral at all the right parts, the drum supports and emphasizes the music just as it should, the guitar and the flute-piano-I-forget-what-it's-called, the piano, everything melds so perfectly together. Even the backup vocals, partic...

@DanSteely3 It was. My first Dan show too. Absolutely amazing, though there were one too many pricks on their cell phones in the audiance for my taste. A great show, and a great performance of this one.
They did a couple other rarities (not that many of them, despite the name); The Bear, A blue...
