Once in a Blue Moon is a project from the early 1980's and initiated in Amsterdam by Zé Salvador . Making use of his private sound studio and audio equipment he invited friends to participate in jam sessions and recorded these. The recordings were done spontaneously in a quite friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Never intended for commercial release these were done with very primitive recording methods and gear, mostly cassette recorders and Sony walkmans. Once in a Blue Moon is Zé Salvador's archived private collection of these recordings that happened only once in a lifetime and were unique moments never meant to be rehearsed or redone. They are true recordings of a single happening and a moment of musical interaction and spontainity. You're free to use it for your personal use. I only ask that you remember Once in a Blue Moon in some way and know that these sounds and the people who participated in them were once true and good friends and that some of them are already gone to live in other worlds, other moons. These are moments of their passage in this Blue Moon Hotel, at the end of the world. Enjoy my friends :)
