On a Wing and a Prayer

Be captivated as we take a rare look, for the first time ever, inside the hollow of an endangered female Black Cockatoo and follow the uncertain lives as her chicks grow, from the first cracks of the eggs, to the tentative extension of their wings.

Filmed on mini HD cameras, we will be capturing the intriguing lives of this family, recording for 5 minutes at 5pm every day. At this time each day the female leaves her nest to feed, this is the best opportunity to see the eggs and once hatched the adorable chicks. Seventy long days of life until the birds are old enough to leave the nest. Will they make it?
