media especially in the month of april... -_- i live in america and love the people but i just hate their ignorance toward china...-_-

im very passionate and proud of china... i believe china's rise is a peaceful one and many people fail to recognize that... im against unfair media distortion, especially distortion that has been made by cnn and bbc on issues relating with china and tibet... cnn and bcc's unreasonable slandering on china are clearly done on purpose, (to sabotage the beijing olympics)... the slandering are due to the ignorance that foreigners(westerners) hav on china and their refusal to accept it's unprecedented rise to superpower status...

one fact i would like ppl to realize is:
1) china's communist government isnt wut it used to be, china embraces limited capitalism, free trade, and etc. but still values communist ideas. china is more of a "socialist democracy.
2) china's positives definitely over shadow it's negatives... for ex... china brought ¼ of the country's 1,300,000,000 people out of poverty and has substantially improved and continues to improve on human rights... and as for anti-Chinese band wagon jumpers who constantly criticize china's slow improvement on issues such as human rights, notice how often this phrase appears everywhere...("china's rise is growing at an unprecedented rate")... which means there has never been a country that has developed as quickly as china in such a short period of time... take a look at the US, it took 200 years for it's government to organize and actually become a superpower country... in comparison with the US and China: china's government has only been in existence a little over 50 years, which began in the 1950's when Mao's communist government took over the poverty stricken country and already, china is considered a superpower country with a government that has improved substantially in almost every category... and during those past 50 years, look at how far china has come... poverty has practically disappeared, with only 1.7% living in poverty. china has over 20 extremely large and modernized cities, economics has blossomed year after year. rio tinto (steel manufacturer) announced in early august 2008 that china will be planning on building 20,000 to 50,000 additional skyscrapers by 2025. china is also planning on building 221 additional cities. (compare that to all of europes 35 cities) china by 2025 will also have 10 "newyork cities" (wuhan, dalian, shanghai, beijing, nanjing, chendu, chongqing, shenzhen, hongkong, and tianjin)during these past 7 years from the year 2001 to 2008, china has achieved wut would take other countries to achieve in 30 YEARS... and so now... ignorant and jealous foreigners are protesting for the boycott of the olympics because of the lack of effort made on human rights!?!?... an issue lk that cant be resolved overnight... and from the rate china has improved already... which no country has ever acheived... obviously china would hav the issue resolved sooner than any other country facing the same difficulty would... and btw... its impossible for a growing country to be perfect... take a look at the US... how long did slavery exist during the 200 year growth??... 100 years... how long did it take women and african americans to earn their rights in a so called "democratic" country?... 150 years and yet governments lk the US still criticize china for the lack of issues being resolved in the governments existence of only 50 years???... it's obvious that many countries are still ignorant and fail to admit their jealousy toward china... and btw... of course china still has few issues left to resolve but every country will learn from their mistakes or else a country will never move forward...
