Hey, I don't believe in Islam but I'm not going to be a dick about this, I'm just letting you know why reasonable people see Islam as a threat. I realize that there are many peaceful Muslims, probably including you, but when you look at the world as a whole and view what Islam as done, it's clear it's a threat. Christianity is no different (crusades, witch trials, etc.). But 9-11 was caused by Muslims. So was 7-7. The Taliban, opression on women, murdering of gays. Don't you see anything wrong with all that?
